Abstract

Objective: To establish separation method of emodin and physcion in polygonum cuspidatum. Methods: Emodin and physcion identified by TLC,polyamide was studied for emodin and physcion separation on pH of solution, concentrate, flow, and amount. Results: The best separation process of emodin and physcion by polyamide is:pH10,0.5%,4BV/h,8g/100ml.Conclusion: The method can be used to separate emodin and physcion of polygonum cuspidatum.
