Abstract
To optimize the extraction technique of total alkaloid from Polygonum amphibium L.,on the basis of single factor tests, ethanol concentration, ratio of ethanol solution to raw material, extraction time affecting extraction rate of total alkaloid were optimized using Response Surface Methodology (RSM).The results showed that the optimum ethanol concentration, ratio of liquid to solid, time of total alkaloid extraction are 82%, 10:1 and 290min,respectively.Under these conditions, the extraction rate of total alkaloid is up to 9.73%.In conclusion, the optimization of extraction technique of total alkaloid from Polygonum amphibium L.via RSM is feasible, and the extraction technique has practical application value.
