Abstract
This paper analyzes on the developing trends of the consumption structure of Chinese urban residents by using the extended linear expenditure model, holding that the ultimate changes of the consumption structure of our country's urban residents will happen, that is from the physical consumption into the non-physical consumption, the weight of the consumption of the living materials will further be reduced, and the weight of the consumption of the enjoying and developing materials will be increased, which provides reference for the government to formulate the consumption policies.
