Abstract

An investigation on the species biodiversity of terrestrial mollusks was carried out in Wuyuan Forest Birds Nature Reserve( Jiangxi province) from July 2008 to November 2011. A total of 57 species belonging to 16 families,28 genera were collected( including 3 undefined species) and including a newly recorded species in Jiangxi province. The dominant species were Diplommatina paxillus longipalatalis and Bradybaena ravida redfieldi. Main areas of distribution analysis showed that 37 species were belonging to Oriental, accounting for 64. 9% of the total diversity. The results of diversity analysis showed that the species richness indices( dMA) of 11 sampling sites were ranged from 0. 423 to 5. 501,species diversity indices H' were ranged from 0. 047 to 2. 333,and evenness indices Jswwere ranged from 0. 030 to 0. 438. Compared with other nature reserves,Wuyuan Forest Birds Nature Reserve has the most diverse terrestrial molluscs which was similar with that of Yangjifeng Nature Reserve and different with Baishuijiang Nature Reserve.
