Birds Fauna and Diversity Analysis in Qiyunshan Nature Resreve in Jiangxi Province

257 species were documented in the bird investigation of Qiyunshan Nature Reserve in November 2006 and February to September in 2007,which belonged to 54 families and 17 orders.Among these,120 species were resident,137 species were migrants(including summer breeders,winter species and transient migrants).97 species(37.7%)were Oriental realm species,141 species(54.9%)were Palaeartic realm species and 19 species(7.4%)widely distributed.34 species belonged to 8 families with national protected status.8 species were new recorded in Jiangxi Province.The result of the diversity analysis showed:the Shannon-Wiener index,Pielou index and Simpson index of the community were 3.875,0.791 and 0.964.Among the diversity indices,the farmland and the residential area were maximal,and the next were shrubs and broadleaved forests,and rivulets and water areas were the minimal.The variety of dominance index in different entironments and the community index were similar.The shrubs equitability index was the highest and the broadleaved forests was the lowest.Among Qiyunshan reserve,Jiulianshan reserve,Jingangshan reserve,Wuyishan reserve in Jiangxi Province and Chebaling reserve in Guangdong Province,the G-F index of birds diversity in Qiyunshan reserve and Jiulianshan reserve were similar,and higher than the others.
