The Value of Multiple Tumor Markers in the Diagnosis and Detection of Lung Cancer

Abstract

Objective To investigate the significance of tumor markers in ageing patients with lung cancer.Methods The level of NSE,CEA,CA125,CYFRA21-1,CA19-9 in 65 ageing patients with lung cancer and 29 patients with benign lung lesion were detected by ELISA.Results The specificity of NSE,CEA,CA125,CYFRA21-1,CA19-9 was 88.6%,84.3%,85.3%,82.5%,83.9% respectively and the sensitivity was 16.8%,55.9%,55.6%,26.6%,24.9%.Conclusion NSE in patients with small cell lung cancer was higher than that of other subtypes of the lung cancer(P0.01).5 tumor markers have a clinical significance for diagnosing lung cancer.
