Abstract
To investigate mutation in HBV precore region of HBV and its clinical significance,we detected 86 cases of chronic Hepatitis B HBV patients from Lanzhou area They were all HBV antibodies positive and antigenes negative Mp-PCR-RFLP was used to detect nt 1896 point mutation in HBV precore region the results showed that 24.42%(21/86) were HBV DNA positive and 19.05%(4/21) of patients with HBV DNA positive of patients with HBV DNA positive has mutant HBV infection. It is showed that HBV is existence in the patients and the mutation is existence in Lanzhou area Perhaps it is relative between the mutation and the patients’s condition
