The Current Situation of the Bilingual Teaching in College and Training the Bilingual Teachers' Professional Competence

Bilingual teaching plays an important role in training high-quality talents,improving the internationalization of the higher education and speeding the process of modernization.There are many problems in China's bilingual education in colleges and universities.However,bilingual teachers' professional quality is one of the most important promising elements realizing bilingual teaching objectives and effective.Based on the analysis of the current situation of bilingual teaching in Chinese colleges,the paper explains the expected qualities for bilingual teachers,and proposes the solutions to cultivating college bilingual teachers' professional quality.
