Abstract
Objective To analyze and study clinical effect of esomeprazole in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux cough. Methods Eighty-six cases of gastroesophageal reflux cough patients who were treated at our hospital were chosen and divided into observation group and control group. Esomeprazole was adopted in the observation group, while omeprazole was adopted in the control group for treatment. Two groups' clinical curative effects were compared and observed after a period of treatment. Results Observation group's overall effective rate of clinical symptom improvement was 81.4%, obviously higher than 60.5% of the control group. Observation group's overall effective rate of stomachoscopy was 88.4%, significantly higher than 69.8%of the control group. Conclusions Esomeprazole has significant effect on gastroesophageal reflux cough, and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
