A survey on disinfection effect and negative reaction of surgical no-clean hand disinfectant to skin of operators.

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To survey the disinfection effect,negative reaction and compliance of Baineng surgical no-clean hand disinfectant to the skin of operators.METHODS The skin of operators were disinfected for 100 person-times with Baineng surgical no-clean hand disinfectant and 0.5% Iodine volts respectively.The bacterial colonies from the disinfected site were cultured immediately,60,120 min and 180 min after the disinfection procedure.The different incidence of negative reaction and compliance between two groups were tested.RESULTS The disinfection effect of two groups both reached national standard.The incidence of negative reaction in Baineng group(1.0%)was significantly lower than the 0.5% Iodine volts group(12.0%).The compliance was better.CONCLUSIONS Baineng surgical no-clean hand disinfectant is safety,comfortable and compliant compared with 0.5% Iodine volts.
