Disinfection Effect of Shiles Disinfectant in Clinic

Abstract

Objective To observe the disinfection effect of the Shiles disinfectant on medical and nursing staff hands.Methods In accordance with the 2009 edition of ‘Hand Hygiene Standard for Medical Staff' hand washing, hand disinfection, sampling, samples from 60 medical staff were taken before and after using Shiles disinfectant.The data were analyzed by matching their own t test.Results The average colony number of disinfection flac (0.41±0.72)CFU/cm2 were significantly less than the average colony number of bacteria before disinfection (35.12±2.74)CFU/cm2.The killing rate of hand disinfectant on the natural bacteria was 98.83%, the difference was statistically significant between two groups (p0.05).Conclusion Shiles disinfectant has an exellent sterilization effect, acting quickly, feel comfortable.It is effective for clinical use.
