Abstract
The method of chemical separation and measurements of Sr/sup 90/ and Cs/ sup 137/ in sea water is described. The chemical separation of Sr00 was obtained by means of calcium coprecipitation with aninwonium oxalate; the Cs/sup 137/ separation was made with sodium cobaltinitritc. The results of the preliminary mesurements of some samples collected in the Adriatic and Tyrrheniar sea are reported. These methods are suitable for the treatment of a great volume of water. (auth)
