Expression and Correlation of VEGF,ER and PR in Patients with Uterus Myoma

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),estrogen receptor(ER) and progesterone receptor(PR) in uterus myoma,and the correlation between them,and their role in the pathogenesis and development of uterus myoma.Methods:The expression of VEGF,ER and PR of 40 uterus myoma tissues and peri-myoma normal tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry.And VEGF proteins were measured by Western-blot.Results:① By immunohistochemistry,the expression positive ratio of VEGF,ER and PR were much higher than in normal muscular layer(P0.05).② The expression level of VEGF were correlated with the expression of ER and PR ③ By Western-blot,the expression levels of VEGF were much higher than in normalmuscular layer(P0.05).Conclusion:VEGF,ER and PR may involve in the pathogenesis of uterus myoma,and they have synergistic effect in pathogenesis and development of uterus myoma.
