Abstract

Three field trials were conducted during 1991–92 to test the efficacy of some insecticides against the nymphal and adult stages of olive lace bug, Eteoneus sigilatus Drake and Poor at University Campus, Nauni. Fenvalerate 0.01%, endosulfan 0.05%, quinalphos 0.05%, oxydemeton-methyl 0.025%, phosphamidon 0.03%, and monocrotophos 0.04% were effective in reducing the nymphal and adult populations of olive bug.
