Abstract
Objective To study the relationship between integrons and multi-drug resistance in E.coli.Method Class I and Ⅱ integrons were detected by PCR;Various regions of Class I integron were sequenced.Result Class I integrons were screened from 93 isolates with the positive rate of 60.2%.Three types of integrons were detected with their lengths being 1000 bp,1600 bp and 2000 bp respectively. Most of these genes carried aadA and dfrA gene cassatte.Class Ⅱ integrons were not detected. Conclusion Integrons are important molecular mechanism in the development of multidrug resistance of E.coli.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
