This report summarizes all the work done for the final year project at Southampton Solent University in the section of Powercraft & Yacht Design 2011.The project boat has been designed as B Class offshore high speed open motoryacht concept. The hull lines reflect the design fashion of the 80s and 90s classical V bottom sport boats with the sharp lines. She has been designed and equipped with the latest cutting edge technology as well as all other high \nperformance crafts. In the design stage of the boat, three primary elements are considered such as hull robustness, design functionality and safety. The secondary impacts were to keeping the yacht lightweight, increasing the speed and \nseakeeping performance by effective aero-hydro dynamic forms without compromising the comfort and luxury. The 80 foot aluminium boat designed to reach challenging speeds up to 80 knots with twin turbine engines which are thrusted by the surface drive system. She has been designed to comply with 12215-5 ISO Rules in order to be used as Mediterranean Coast line tender that can accommodate up to six persons and two crews onboard.
