Abstract

Twenty one compounds belonging to the series of dimethyl phosphoramidates and methyl phosphoric diamides were synthesised and screened for toxicity against Meloidogyne incognita. Six compounds which showed good nematicidal activity significantly reduced the number of galls on the root system but they did not adversely affect other plant growth characters of soyabean.
