Abstract
A series of substituted chalcones and their corresponding pyrazoles were synthesized and evaluated for nematicidal activity in vitro against Meloidogyne incognita and Rotylenchulus reniformis. Few compounds viz. 1c, 3c, 5a and 5b showed good nematicidal activity when tested as EC formulations and can be identified as lead molecule for studying structure activity relationship and further modification.
