Abstract
Through field research and the interior analysis,we mainly surveyed plant and animal resources of the wetland along the Yangtze River in Changshu,and analyzed the distribution of wetland vegetation characteristics.It found that the wetland protection faced three main problems:reduced wetland area,increased pollution and damaged biodiversity.Combining with the development strategy of Changshu ecological city,suggestions for ecological conservation and sustainable utilization of wetland along the Yangtze River in Changshu were put forward,namely,strengthening wetland protection,implementing demonstration projects for wetland restoration,enhancing wetland monitoring and developing wetland eco-tourism.
