Abstract

In vitro and In vivo culture filtrate of T. viride reduced the hatching and mortality of root knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita. The maximum hatching was in control (172.25) followed by147.00, 137.75, 117.00, 93.25, 57.50, 32.25 and mortality was15.25, 30.00, 45.75, 61.00, 78.50 & 90.50) after 48 hrs at 1, 10, 20, 30 50, & 100%). In vivo effect of antagonistic fungus used with or without organic manures (vermicompost, cow dung, goat dung manure & poultry manure) on the nematode multiplication. The multiplication reduction % over the inoculated check was maximum in treated check (85.0) followed by T1, (69.8) T4, (69.1) T2, (68.8) T3, (68.3) and T5(52.7) %, respectively.
