Abstract

A new maize hybrid jinongda 678 was obtained by using B146 as female parent and JND58as male parent.Its yield was 10 722.2 kg/hm2 in the 2-year regional test,9.8 % higher than that of the control variety;testing results showed its yield was 9 927.1 kg/hm2 in the production test,8.8 % higher that of the control variety Jidan 261.Jinongda 678was examined and approved by Jilin Evaluation Committee of Crop Variety in January of 2009.Jinongda 678is of high yield,great resistance to diseases and better quality.It can be planted in middle and middle-late mature region of Jilin province.
