Abstract

[Objective]The purpose was to study the effect of Fe and Zn on seed germination and seedling physiology and biochemistry of Brassica rapa L.[Method]Taking the Brassica rapa L.as materials, the effects of different concentrations of Fe and Zn pollution on seed germination, seedling growth, chlorophyll content and CAT activity of Brassica rapa L.were studied.[Result]The effect of low concentration(≤0.05 mmol/L) of Fe2+,Zn2+ is not obvious on Brassica rapa L.cabbage.The high concentration can produce inhibition. With the increasing of Fe2+,Zn2+ concentrations, the fresh weight and the chlorophyll content of Brassica rapa L.cabbage show downward trend. With the increase of Fe2+ concentration, the CAT activity in Brassica apa L.seedling has improved;Zn2+ concentration was promoted, and then inhibited;the activity of CAT at the concentration of 0.25 mmol/L was the highest.[Conclusion]The effects of Fe and Zn on Brassica rapa L.seed germination was little and on seedling growth was big.
