Abstract
Objective:To analyze the drug resistence and common β-lactamase gene distribution in clinical isolates resistant to ceftazidime-resistant Enterobacter cloacae. Methods: The antimicrobial susceptibility of clinical isolates of Enterobacter cloacae was tested in vitro;then nine β-lactamase genes(including the TEM) were amplified by PCR.Results: Of 42 ceftazidime-resistant Enterobacter cloacae,34(80.95%) were ESBL producer, and the resistance was higher in non-ESBL producing strains ESBL producing strains to some antibiotics. The drug-resistance gene detection rates of TEM,SHV,CTX-M,DHA,EBC,CIT,KPC were 35.7%,50.0%,19.0%,9.5%,97.6%,28.6%,2.4%.We didn′t find IMP and VIM resistance genes in these strains. Conclusion: There was a higher detection rate of β-lactamase gene in ceftazidime-resistant Enterobacter cloacae, and there were a variety of resistance mechanisms of Enterobacter cloacae.
