Abstract
Two experiments on the control of aphids on seed crop of radish were conducted at village Kanganwal (Ludhiana). Five granular soil systemic insecticides viz; aldicarb at 0.5 to 3.0 kg, disulfoton 0.5 to 2.5 kg, phorate at 1.0 to 3.0 kg and fensulfothion and carbofuran each at 0.75 to 2.0 kg ai./ha were tried. Aldicarb, disulfoton and phorate at 1.0 kg, 2.5 kg and 2.0 kg ai./ha, respectively proved highly effective.
