Abstract
The strains with antagonistic activity against Verticillium dahliae Kleb.were screened from the soil.Of the 68 strains obtained,a strain named DS45-2 with a relatively higher antagonistic activity.The strain DS45-2 was further purified and characterized by morphological and culture observation,physiological and biochemical experiments and 16S rDNA sequence analysis.Based on the results,the strain was initially identified as a Bacillus amyloliquefaciens.The similarity of the 16S rDNA sequences between strain DS45-2 and the type strain NBRC 15535 of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens was close to 99.50%.
