Abstract

In continuing the tests with locally irradiated bones the deviations in the Ca/sup 45/ metabolism of white rats after 750, up to the ll0th day were followed up. after all radiation doses the specific activities in the irradiated bones were higher than in the nonirradiated; after 750 r, however, after 110 days an equilization was observed with the values in nonirradiated bones in the sense of a recuperation after radiation damage of the epiphyseal cartilages.
