Integrating Catchment Physical Resources Data with Statutory Environmental Planning Processes

Abstract
Information concerning rural land capability and soil erosion data is presented. The community is becoming increasingly concerned about adverse environmental consequences of poorly planned development and unwise land use practices. Some suggestions are made for using land resources data in local government environmental planning. By integrating such data with the planning process, more informed land use decisions will result.
