Abstract

Water resources carrying capacity of irrigated district is directly related to agricultural irrigation,ecological environment and socio-economic sustainable development.According to the actual situation for Mengkaige large irrigation district,the irrigation district was divided into five irrigation area,Mengzi irrigation area,Datun irrigation area,Caoba irrigation area,Dazhuang irrigation area and Jijiezhadian irrigation area.The water resource carrying capacity was evaluated by the application of fuzzy synthetic evaluation method.The results showed that the irrigated district of water resources carrying capacity was nearing saturation,the potential of water resources development and utilization and the irrigation scale was relatively small.Irrigation development should turn open source to expenditure,so that limited water resources can be efficiently used in irrigation district.
