Board Meeting: Chairman Appeals for Support details the appeal from Mr R. G. Mathews (Chairman of the Board) to the community for providing urgent services at the hospital during the Annual Hospital Board Meeting. Increased membership is needed and committee need be formed for the District Nursing Service, as well as volunteers at the hospital are always welcomed. A suggestion was a formation of Pink Ladies at Gosford District Hospital. Mathews praises the work of the auxiliaries financially and voluntarily but the need for more to be done is there.
