New teachers speak out: Applying for jobs

I nearly gave up on teaching in New South Wales. I was stuck in a chain of interviews and a recurring feeling of inadequacy that came with every harsh label of inexperienced. I set myself a deadline, if I did not have a permanent job within a year of finishing my studies, I was packing my bags and heading to the schools of London where they were interested in giving me the experience I apparently lacked. But after a turn of events, I didn't go. I am now permanently employed in a job I love and I want to share the steps I took with others who might be in the same position as I was in.
