Abstract

Objective To investigate the curative effect and safety of ceftriaxone sodium combining with doxycycline treat male urethra mixed infections. Methods One hundred and six patients were randomly divided into two groups, each group contained 53 patients. The treatment group were treated with the methods of ceftriaxone sodium combining with doxycycline, patients with complications were treated by intramuscular injection ceftriaxone sodium 250mg once a day, patients without complications were treated by intramuscular injection ceftriaxone sodium 250mg single dosage once, while taked doxycycline 100mg twice everyday. The control group were treated by ceftriaxone sodium only, the treatment method was together with the treatment group. The course of treatment was 10 days to everyday treatment. Results The curative rates of two groups were 84.91% and 54.72% respectively, and difference had the sense of statistics(P0.005), and 2 groups of bad reactions were similar, serious side-effect did not happen. Conclusion Ceftriaxone sodium combining with doxycycline treatments male urethra mixed infections cound raise remarkable the curative effect.
