Abstract
Outsourcing offers wide range of benefits to organization such as cost reduction, better access to superior quality, flexible in responding to market change, opportunity to focus on core competences and facilitate the development of product diversification. Facility management outsourcing can be an excellent way for large organizations to drive down operating costs, give more focus on the core mission and improve their competitive position. Therefore the objective of this paper is to overview the selection criteria for outsourcing service provider. Data were obtained through questionnaire surveys to selected public higher education buildings' facilities management department. This study will present the findings in proper tabulated charts and tables. Ultimately, this research will provide a useful management tool for selecting the appropriate service provider in order to maximize their benefits from outsourcing.
