Abstract
The production of biodiesel from rapeseed oil by lipase catalyzed transesterification with methanol at low temperature was studied. The effects of molar ratio of methanol to oil, dosage of lipase, reaction time, reaction temperature and water dosage on transesterification were studied by single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment. The results showed that the optimal conditions were as follows:reaction temperature 20 ℃,reaction time 12 h,molar ratio of methanol to oil 4∶ 1,dosage of lipase 105 U/g and water dosage 20%.Under the optimal conditions, the conversion rate of fatty acid methyl ester reached 97%.
