Survey of community basic public health services in Hefei city from 2007 to 2009

Objective To study the community basic public health services in Hefei city from 2007 to 2009.Methods Continuous surveillance monitor was carried out from 2007 to 2009 in 4 areas of Hefei city by using uniform forms.Results The number of institutions in Hefei was basically meet the requirements of community health development plan in three years.Human resources of community health services center was increasing,but human resources of community health service stations was basically equal to the level of 2007.The community health services staffing was unreasonable.The number of public health services grew rapidly and the satisfaction of the community health service use increased year by year.Conclusions The community public health service system in Hefei has been basically established,while the system support,hardware construction and staffing should be strengthened.Hence,a long-term development mechanism of community health services should be established,community health service network should be improved,in order to enhance the quality of community health services equalization.
