Design of ultra light displacement wooden boat.

The conception of a cruising yacht might be seen as a straight forward project, but the actual project is to design a boat with large horizon easy to handle with restricted crew as well as being capable of entering in a racing programme such as the 40 open class. \nThe design of this modern boat is to be done in the traditional way with specific regard to the lifting keel \nThe aim of this design is to regroup all the theory which I have learnt during three years and to put them all into practice to obtain a sailing vessel able to satisfy a river or an ocean voyage by a sensitive helmsman. The American Bureau of Shipping & the Maritime Coastguard Agency rules have been followed to obtain a safe yacht.
