Abstract

Under federal rules of evidence and civil procedure and many protocols for alternative dispute resolution, the financial expert is required to make prescribed disclosures using a signed written report. The expert report is a critical part of the discovery process as it discloses expert opinions on facts and issues in dispute. Therefore, it is important that the financial expert witness understand how to prepare a compliant and effectively communicated expert report.
