Abstract
Nine bovine milk samples and six popular brand milk powder samples collected locally showed the presence of HCH residues. Five bovine milk samples showed β HCH above MRL. No milk powder sample showed α and δ HCH residues but one milk powder sample was found to contain β and γ HCH above maximum residue limit (MRL) None of the samples contained DDT residues.
