Remote sensing image distribute system supported by metadata

Geospatial metadata is description information of geography related data and resource, and it may effectively help users to get information for geography location, geospatial data evaluation, data comparison, data acquisition and other geography related data. Core issues of remote sensing (RS) image metadata system was discussed in this paper including RS image metadata database, RS image metadata standard, RS metadata management mode etc. A remote sensing image metadata issue system was design and implemented based on distributed metadata management.
