Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of Bifidobacterium tetravaccine Tablets(Live) in prevention of antibiotic-associated diarrhea.Method 132 cases of infant in-patients were divided ramdonly into the control group treated with regular anti-infection as usual, and the prevention group treated with Bifidobacterium tetravaccine Tablets(Live) on the regular treatment basis.Result The incidence of diarrhea in control group was 37.5%(27/72),while that of prevention group was 16.7%(10/60)(χ2=7.58,P﹤0.01).The diarrhea frequency of control group was(6.42±2.66) t/d while that of prevention group was(3.92±1.03) t/d(t=3.29,P﹤0.01).The average duration of diarrhea was(4.97±1.20) days in control group and(3.90±1.02) days in prevention group(t=5.60,P﹤0.01).There was significant difference between two groups. Conclusion Bifidobacterium tetravaccine Tablets(Live) could reduce the incidence rate of infant antibiotic-associated diarrhea.
