Abstract
New software offers a bridge information system to locate structures, find bridge information, and summarize data analysis. A majority of bridges in the United States are 25 to 50 years old, meaning state repair and replacement projects for bridges will increase dramatically over the next twenty years as many state bridges deteriorate. The information in the system, drawn from the National Bridge Inventory, contains bridge information for all states and may aid contractors or bridge designers working on bridge maintenance projects.
