Abstract
Precise GPS positioning in real time becomes increasingly important for many geodetic applications. For single based RTK, as the distance between GPS rover station and GPS base station increases, more decorrelated positioning errors limit the ability for PDGPS (Precise Differential GPS). To overcome the limitations of standard RTK systems, networks of GPS reference stations are being used in many countries worldwide. The objective of this paper is to present the improvement of using VRS (virtual reference station) based on multiple GPS reference station network to single reference station for static positioning in post-processing mode. For this, virtual reference observation of 27 cases from GPS observations of CORS (Continuously Operating Reference Station) around test area are derived by using web service in post-mode. The check point post-processed by VRS observations and compared with the known ones. The result of study shows the potential effect of PDGPS by GPS permanent reference station network.
