Abstract

The article describes how advances in recycled asphalt pavement technology and its widespread acceptance have helped the asphalt recycling industry grow and prosper. Several methods of recycling asphalt are summarized: hot recycling; hot in-place recycling; cold in-place recycling; and full depth reclamation. The article also describes how agencies in Dallas, Texas, New York City, and Iowa county have used the techniques.
