Abstract
In the January 1965 issue of this publication, an article was presented with tables showing important features in the financial operation of various toll projects in the nation. Although the emphasis was on the nation's turnpike facilities, several bridge and tunnel revenue projects were also included. As of the early 1970s, growth of such projects had increased even more, largely due to the success of toll revenue bonds as a means of financing this type of infrastructure. This article discusses the advantages of using toll revenue bonds in the funding of tunnels, bridges, highways, and other types of public works projects.
