Abstract

A standard battery of sixteen travel impact indicators have been developed for use within the Statewide Modeling System. This report documents those computerized techniques which have been devised to monitor the effects that proposed transportation plans would probably have upon regional travel patterns if actually implemented. These indicators allow public officials to test alternate schemes in search for an optional solution to particular transportation problems before actually submitting a single plan for adoption. /Author/
