Abstract
The paper gives the model experiment results of four different hull forms of fishing boats (conventional stern, bulbous stern, tunnel stern and bulbous stern combined with a bulbous bow). From the resistance self propulsion and seakeeping tests, it can be seen that the bulbous stern ship and that with additional bulbous bow are beneficial for reducing ship resistance, increasing propulsion efficiency and improving seakeeping quality. Finally, guidelines for designing bulbous sterns given briefly.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
