Abstract

Some results of the Finnish project Ship Hydrodynamic Design Using the Means of Computational Fluid Mechanics are presented. One of the main goals of the project was to validate the Shipflow code. This validation work has substantially improved the understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) methods.
