Abstract
Good planning and design practice demands participation, interaction between the planners and other authorities and the citizens. The goal of participation is to find solutions which, if possible, can be accepted by all participants. Often, such a solution is not found, but participation will in any case produce a comprehensive basis for decision making. The possibility to participate is offered all those who are interested in the project.
