Make Quality a Mindset and Ongoing Process

A good definition of quality management is that you understand what quality means to your client and you put a proactive plan in place to achieve that level of quality. This requires a combination of quality planning, quality control (inspection), and quality assurance (prevention). Repeatedly finding errors and fixing them (quality control) can result in a high quality product, but it is a very inefficient process. The best approach is to build a quality product the first time.
