Abstract
Several Railways have introduced the 3-phase current-drive tecynique. Among the range of power units developed, two should be mentioned in particular: the DB's BR 120 and the SNCF's BB 10 004, for both of which the testing phase is now over. On the basis of test results, the authors examine the possibilities for comparison with regard to running and adhesion characteristics, as well as the coverter techniques used together with their costs and impact on the power supply system.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
