Abstract
This project was conducted to assess the relative performance of different pavement maintenance and rehabilitation treatments, including the influence of pretreatment condition and other factors on treatment effectiveness. The data used in this study were drawn from the Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) Studies' SPS-3 (flexible pavement maintenance), SPS-5 and GPS-6B (flexible pavement rehabilitation), and SPS-6 and GPS-7B (rigid pavement rehabilitation) experiments. The results of this project are presented in this report, which is organized in the following chapters: (1) Introduction and research approach; (2) Flexible pavement maintenance effectiveness; (3) Flexible pavement rehabilitation effectiveness; (4) Rigid pavement rehabilitation effectiveness; and (5) Conclusions. Appendices contain supporting material for the analyses.
